Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
DM Prep ("DM Prep," "we," "us," or "our") operates an Amazon FBA/FBM preparation and fulfillment-support service for third-party Amazon sellers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. We handle all Amazon information in accordance with Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Data Protection Policy (DPP).
Information we handle. To provide our services we handle: (a) business contact information that sellers provide to us directly (name, company, email, phone, shipping details); and (b) Amazon account information that a seller explicitly authorizes us to access through their Amazon Seller Central account, limited to what is needed to perform inbound preparation and shipment services, for example FBA inbound shipment data, FNSKU/SKU and item data, inventory levels, and inventory and shipment reports. We do not seek or require access to Amazon buyers' Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
How we use information. We use information solely to deliver the services a seller requests: receiving and checking in inventory, labeling (FNSKU and box content), polybagging, bundling and kitting, quality and expiration checks, creating and managing FBA inbound shipments, and tracking inventory and shipment status. We act only on each seller's instructions and only within the permissions they grant us. We do not use Amazon information for advertising, profiling, resale, or any purpose unrelated to the requested service.
How we store and protect information. Access to Amazon information is restricted to authorized DM Prep staff based on their job duties. We use access controls and multi-factor authentication on the accounts and systems we use, we encrypt information in transit, and we store credentials securely. We maintain a risk-assessment process and a written incident-response plan covering monitoring, detection, and response to potential security threats, and we report security incidents involving Amazon information to security@amazon.com within 24 hours of detection.
Sharing. We do not sell or rent information. We share information only as needed to perform the service, for example with Amazon and with the shipping carriers used to deliver inventory, and with our cloud and software providers that process data under their own data-protection terms. We do not share Amazon information with any other third parties.
Retention and deletion. We retain Amazon information only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal or tax obligations, after which it is deleted. We delete Amazon information promptly upon a seller's request or upon termination of our engagement, and we do not retain Amazon buyer PII beyond what is permitted by Amazon's Data Protection Policy.
Organizational changes. We maintain a policy to notify Amazon within 30 days of any organizational change that affects our need for, or use of, Amazon information.
Your choices. Sellers may revoke our access to their Amazon Seller Central account at any time and may request deletion of their information by contacting us at the details below.
Changes to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision.
